Prayer Time Heir Mail: Inaugural Recording and Resources
Here is your healthy serving of goodness, fit for an heir. [Intro Email 02 of 05]
Welcome to your second introductory issue of Prayer Time Heir Mail.
Again, it’s just for you who attend Prayer Time—the Wednesday meeting hosted by Neil (Nilaksha) Fernando, at Emerio Design.
Alright, alright, alright. What do we have for you today?

Carl here. I thought we could continue by introducing the inaugural episode of the new Prayer Time Heir Waves podcast, recorded in January 2024.
Beyond these first five intro emails, we will normally present you with the previous week’s Heir Waves episode here on Mondays. Since we are just getting started, let’s catch up with the handful of episodes completed during this project's development phase.
Okay, here’s that first podcast episode, jam-packed with goodness!
Overview:
Chestly Lunday and Jared Roth share the results of Sprout Digital’s research project several years in the making. They reveal their findings about establishing meaningful connections with and better understanding of Millennials and Generation Z.
This episode covers the impact of digital ministry, the desires and needs of both Gen Z and Millennials, leadership models with examples, and implications for the Church in North America in engaging these people.
Links to additional resources discussed in this episode are below.

To recap from yesterday’s email, depending on how you take in the podcast, these transcripts will appear in different places:

In each episode’s show notes, there’s a link to view and/or download a text file of the transcript.
If you sport an iPhone or iPad, Apple updated their Podcast app so that transcripts move on-screen in time with the audio.
Nota bene, these transcripts are generated using machine learning (ML). They may contain typos, misspellings, omissions, and misheard words. Court stenographer levels of accuracy are not currently within reach. However, these transcripts do bring new possibilities of engagement.
